The yellow on the trunk represents happiness and optimism; it is the color of sun shining, or bright light and creativity. ... It is the color of high energy, enthusiasm, hope, fun, and cheerfulness. Life swings like a pendulum backward and forward between pain and boredom. The empty swing set reminds us of this- that bad won't be bad forever, and what is good can sometimes last a long, long time.
